| hi people, i have just bought a 555 wrx v-limited import its amazing. but i have no clue about them as i have allways been a vag person that vw. so help tips and ideas would be great, all i no is its 280 running standard thats it. thanks |

| Welcome to DSOC.
What age / colour is your car? I know it is blue but 53C or 74F (dark blue or same colour as mine?). From memory a true 555 WRX V-Ltd should be 1996, 53C Blue with a laural wreath sticker on the boot lid. It can get confusing as there were various STI's and RA Ltd's in the same colour at the same time. |

Actually I may be lying about the laural wreath sticker - I think that may have been on the STI verson not the WRX. There were loads of Ltd editions around the time of yours - all 53C Blue, but WRX & STI V-Ltds as well as RA STI & WRX V-Ltds. What seats does yours have? Do they have a crest on them? I think the STI version got Mcrae signatures stiched in and the WRX got the WRC crests. The WRX V-Ltd was based on a normal WRX so would have left the factory with 260PS - 256bhp. I'm sure the 555 was limited to that number so pretty exclusive |
