Can you give me your general thoughts on the ESL daughterboard? Considering it for my '95 RA.



Beez also mentioned the other day that it will soon be available with TC and AL, any ideas when this will be available?

ESL works good Tim, but it depends on where you want to go with the car.

the hold back at the moment is that ESL are developing things and it is hard to know exactly when they will be released. Once mapped to the optimum any ecu is as good as any other but the ESL software at present doesnt allow as fine a tune as simtek or syvecs.

They are working on it and Andy at ESL is a mate of mine and lives up the road from me - the new software and tools will be great. They say march but from previous experience the timescales do slip a lot :(

Probably after April to be honest (Holiday booked) - I'm not after anything crazy, just push it to the next stage safely. Looking at around 330bhp if it's do-able with my mods and some 440's in there.
