| Its come to our attention that Admin, Mods and Reps of DSOC have had their accounts deleted from Dorset Scoobys. We have no interest indiminishing the reputation of any other car clubs so we will not be brought into a war of words and as a club we will not be following suit as anyone and everyone is welcome at DSOC.
I myself am a member of many forums and come and go as i please and i expect people to do the same whether it be here or any other car club. The fact that accounts have been deleted reinforces our decision to start DSOC and we appreciate the support we have had in the 7 days DSOC has been active and long may it continue.
Regards Jay'n'Ang |

| Who would of deleted your accounts?, I thought Caz was friends with pretty much everyone? And she is the new owner of DS, I'm sure if it was done before the great switch off, it could be sorted. I for one don't want to see any bitching ever as 95% of people here were/are on DS and all get on. Upside of 2 clubs, 2 meets a month ;) Oh and Baz's name is a bugger to read on the black background |

Oh and Baz's name is a bugger to read on the black background It's basically the admin/mods/reps of this club that have been de-activated on DS mate (with possibly some other individuals? - not aware of anyone else) - I can see why, perhaps they view us as 'trouble'. It's a shame, but hey-ho. |

| The fact that someone said the accounts never got back up and running after it was offline for a week is rubbish as i was on there this morning and have been deleted during the day. I tried to re register and got this........... Your account has been manually deactivated and is only able to be reactivated by an administrator. |

| At the end of the day people have a choice, if they are happy with DS thats ok, if they are happy with DSOC that's ok too. There's enough space in cyberspace and Dorset for both. I would say though that there is absolutely no point in having two sites that are the same. DSOC has to have its own identity and values and stick to them. OK the majority of the people are the same but lets not fall into the trap of basically repeating threads. I'd just about given up with DS because it didn't feel welcoming if you weren't a 'very regular' on the site, at meets and shows. Not every Scooby driver wants to be doing that but enjoys being part of the forum. It felt too much like I was looking in at a group on messenger. As I said at the top though, if that's what people like that's fine but we don't need two of those. On a forum you should be able to look at any thread and understand it, if it reads like a private conversation it's not appropiate. Jay - it's all looking good, very pleased you're not letting yourself get drawn in - 'moral high ground' is a good place to be watching from. Long may it continue |

| Very valid comments Klunk and personally i hate to see any one on the peripheral and will do my utmost to ensure every one feels welcome at this club .....at the end of the day its the members that make the club not the club that makes the members!! Its down to you guys how the club grows and as you have said long may it continue and heres to good times ahead |
