I also saw Duncan today and he's going to have look at mine for me cause he thinks the figures sumo power gave me are impossible with my standard turbo!!! He also suggested either getting a fmic also sti top mount, bigger turbo like a vf34 or bigger possible induction kit before he map's it properly. Got to send him a copy of print outs for sumo!!!

Yeah, I think the dyno figures you were given are pure fiction, there is no way on earth that your TD04 can give it 380bhp !! 295 is the most I have ever seen.

The turbo you need is either the VF43 or VF48 from the hawk sti or hatch sti, they are designed for the 2.5 litre engine and work very well (i wouldnt do VF34 or VF35 on yours). Either of those with an STi tmic will get you to 350bhp or slightly more with a fmic.

Going for over 400bhp on a 2.5 is an expensive step, it will require a forged engine with good pistons and rods in it. Never cheap to do that.

My honest recommendation is to stick to 380bhp max as the costs involved in going over that outweigh the power figure. With a vf43 and fmic, we should be able to get to that figure.
